at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way, thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. And, as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend : and they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth ; and himself believed, and his whole house. This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judea into Galilee.

THE COLLECT. , hold the Church in continual godliness ; that through thy protection it may be free from all adversities, and devoutly given to serve thee in good works, to the glory of thy Name ; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

THE EPISTLE. PHIL. I. 3. I

THANK my God upon every remembrance

of you, (always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,) for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until you all,

pray, that

now ; being confident of this very thing, that
he who hath begun a good work in you will
perform it until the day of Jesus Christ ; even
as it is meet for me. to think this of
because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as
both in my bonds, and in the defence and con-
firmation of the Gospel, ye all are partakers of
my grace. For God is my record, how greatly
I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus
Christ. And this I

your
love

may abound yet more and more in knowledge, and in all judgement: that ye may approve things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere, and without offence, till the day of Christ : being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

my brother sin against me, and I forgive him ? till seven times ? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven times ; but until seventy times seven.
