Answer to questions but no more, including at least one from each of the three divisions. If more than 10 are answered only the first 10 answers will be considered. Division of groups is not allowed. Objects may be in sight of candidates if desired. Drawings may be in pencil, charcoal, pen and ink or water-colors. Each complete answer will receive 10 credits. Papers entitled to 75 or more credits will be accepted. At close of examination inclose work in double sheet, and place declaration and signature on last page of double sheet.

I Draw from nature or from memory a landscape, giving special attention to proportion and due placing of the main masses. 2 Draw free hand a group containing a vase form of pleasing outline and proportions.

3-4 Copy free hand fig. 1, enlarging at least one fourth.
