Nd the LORD fpake unto Mofes, Go unte unto the LORD, Let my people go, that they may ferve me. 2 And if thou refuse to let them go, behoid, I will fmite all thy borders with frogs: 3 And the river shall bring forth frogs a bundantly, which thall go up, and come inte thine houfe, and into thy bed-chamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy fervants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading-troughs: 4 And the frogs thall come up, both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy fervants. And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the ftreams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and caufe frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt. 6 And Aaron ftretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt. 7 And the magicians did to with their inchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt. 8 Then Pharaoh called for Mofes and Aaron, and faid, Entreat the Lord, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do facrifice unto the LORD. 9 And Mofes faid nato Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall 1 entreat for thee, and for thy fervants, and for thy peope, to de ftroy the frogs from thee and thy houses. that they may remain in the river only? 10 And he laid, To-morrow. Hen the LORD faid unto Mofes, Go in Tunto Pharaoh, and tell him, flus faith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my pee ple go, that they may ferve me. 2 For if thou refufe to let them go, and wilt hold them ftill, 3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is up on thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horfes, upon the affes, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the theep: there shall be a very grievous murrain. 4 And the LORD shall fever between the cattle of Ifrael and the cattle of Egypt: and there fhall nothing die of all that is the chil drens of Ifrael. S And the LORD appointed a fet time, faying, To-morrow the LORD fhall do this thing in the land. 6 And the LORD did that thing on the mor row, and all the cattle of Egypt died; but of the cattle of the childen of lfrael died not one. 7 And Pharaoh fent, and behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Ifraelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. 8 And the LORD faid unto Mofes and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of athes of the furnace, and let Mofes fprinkle it toward the heaven in the fight of Pharaoh; 9 And it fhall become finall duft in all the land of Egypt, and thall be a boil breaking forth with blains, upon man and upon beaft, throughout all the land of Egypt. 10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and ftood before Pharaoh; and Mofes fprinkled it up toward heaven: and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beaft. 11 And the magicians could not stand before Mofes becaufe of the boil: for the bo was upon the magicians, and upon the Egyptians. 12 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them as the LORD had spoken unto Mofes. 13 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Rife up early in the morning, and ftand before Pharaoh, and fay unto him, Thus faith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may ferve me. 14 For 1 will at this time fend all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy ter vants, and upon thy people; that thou mayeft know that there is none like me in all the earth. 15 For now I will ftretch out my hand, that I may fmite thee and thy people with pettilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth. 16 And in very deca for this caufe have I raifed thee up, for to fhew in thee my power: C and that my name may be declared through'out all the earth. 17 As yet exalteft thou thyfelf against my people, that thou wilt not let them go? 18 Behold, to-morrow about this time, I will caufe it to rain a very grievous hail, fuch as hath not been in Egypt fince the foundation thereof even until now. 19 Send, therefore, now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hatt in the field: for upon every man and beaft which shall be found in the field, and fhall not be brought home, the hail fhall come down upon them, and they shall die. 20 He that feared the word of the LORD, among the fervants of Pharaoh, made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses. 21 And he that regarded not the word of the LORD, left his fervants and his cattle in the field. 22 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. 23 And Mofes ftretched forth his rod toward heaven, and the LORD fent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the Tand of Egypt. 24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, fuch as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt fince it became a nation. 25 And the hail fmote, throughout all the land of Egypt, all that was in the field, both man and beaft; and the hail fmote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field. 26 Only in the land of Gofhen, where the children of Ifrael were, was there no hail. 27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Mo fes and Aaron, and faid unto them, I have finned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. 28 Entreat the LORD, (for it is enough,) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye fhall ftay no longer. 29 And Mofes faid unto him, Affoon as I am gore out of the city I will fpread abroad my hanus unto the LORD: and the thunder thall ceale, neither fhall there be any more hall; that thou mayett know how that the earth is the LORDS. 30 But as for thee and thy fervants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God. 31 And the flax and the barley was fmit ten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled. 32 But the wheat and the rye were not fmitten: for they were not grown up. 33 And Mofes went out of the city from Pharaoh and fpread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceafed, and the rain was not poured upon the earth. 34 And when Pharoah saw that the rain, and the hail, and the thunders, were ceafed, he finned yet more, and hardened his heart, Le and his fervants. 35 And the heart of Pharaoh was harded ed, neither would he let the children of L rael go; as the Lord had fpoken by Moles. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh. 7 And Pharaohs fervants faid unto him, How long thall this man be a fnare unto us? let the men go, that they may ferve the LORD their God. And all these thy fervants shall come down unto me, and bow down themfelves unto me, faying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee; and after that I will go out.
