(Sheffield Park.) 1 Blessed is the man by grace divine renewed, 2 The word of God, his glory and delight, 3 Like trees which bend o'er some enriching stream, And spread their boughs beneath the sun's brigh' beam; His fruits of holiness shall never die, 4 Not so the wicked--they, in vengeance driven 5 For God's all-searching eye the world surveys, He marks, and loves the contrite sinner's ways; But views with wrath the guilty pride of those Who spurn his gospel, and his grace oppose. 2 Ps. i. 2nd Version, (Goshen.) 1 Thrice happy, who never depart, From serving their covenant Lord!
