Heb.x.10. facrament of the Lord's fupper, to the offering of the body of Jefus Christ once for all: look to him as dying for the remiffion of your fins; washing them away in his precious blood; fuffering that you may be faved. And while you are kneeling under his cross, touched with the utmost poffible fenfe of God's love who gave his only begotten Son, and affected with fentiments of the most tender devotion to him who gave himfelf for you, embrace alfo with your good will all mankind, whom he loved, for his fake. Then rise up to the sober continual practice of every thing, that is good, and excellent, and praise worthy, and conformable to fuch fentiments and affections, and the obligations laid upon you by his infinite love. Remember that you are to live, as well as pray piously. Let the devout worship of God be accompanied with a careful obedience to James i.4. his commands: and then you are perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Thus

Thus fhall these services and facraments be fulfilled to you in a manner not now to be comprehended. You fhall be admitted into thofe manfions which Chrift is gone into heaven to prepare; and eat and drink at his table in his Luke xxii. kingdom.

ABOVE WHEN HE SAID, SACRIFICE, AND OFFERING, AND BURNT OFFERINGS, AND OFFERING FOR SIN, THOU WOULDEST NOT, NEITHER HADST PLEASURE THEREIN ; WHICH ARE OFFERED BY THE LAW: THEN SAID HE, LO, I COME TO DO THY WILL, O GOD: HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST, THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND.
