MORNING PRAYER. The Lord's Prayer. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us;......

Second Collect, for Peace. O God, who art the author of peace, and lover of concord, in knowledge of whom standeth our eternal life, whose service is perfect freedom; Defend us thy humble servants in all assaults of our enemies; that we surely trusting in thy defence, may not fear the power of any adversaries, through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord.

EVENING PRAYER. Third Collect, for Aid against Perils. Lighten our darkness, we beseech thee, O Lord; and by thy great mercy defend us from all perils and dangers of this night, for the love of thy only Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

LITANY....... From envy, hatred, and malice, and all uncharitableness,

Good Lord, deliver us.

...... From battle, and murder, and from sudden death,

Good Lord, deliver us.

From all sedition, privy conspiracy, and re

bellion ;....

Good Lord, deliver us.

That it may please thee to forgive our enemies, persecutors, and slanderers, and to turn their hearts;

We beseech thee to hear us, good Lord. PRAYER for all Conditions of Men. More especially we pray for the good estate of the Catholic Church; that it may be so guided and governed by thy good Spirit, that all who profess and call themselves Christians, may be led into the way of truth, and hold the faith in unity of spirit, in the bond of peace, and in righteousness of life.

THANKSGIVING for restoring public Peace at Home. O eternal God, our heavenly Father, who alone makest men to be of one mind in a house, and stillest the outrage of a violent and unruly people; We bless thy holy name, that it hath pleased thee to appease the seditious tumults which have been lately raised up amongst us ;....

COLLECT for St. Stephen's Day......and being filled with the Holy Ghost, may learn to love and bless our persecutors, by the example of thy first martyr, St. Stephen, who prayed for his murderers to thee, O blessed Jesus, who standest at the right hand of God to succour all those that suffer for thee, our only Mediator and Advocate.

For Quinquagesima Sunday. O Lord, who hast taught us that all our doings without charity

are nothing worth; Send thy Holy Ghost, and pour into our hearts that most excellent gift of charity, the very bond of peace, and of all virtues, without which whosoever liveth is counted dead before thee; Grant this for thine only Son, Jesus Christ's sake.

For the first Sunday after Easter. Grant us so to put away the leaven of malice and wickedness, that we may alway serve thee in pureness of living and truth,.....,

For the fourteenth Sunday after Trinity. Almighty and everlasting God, give unto us the increase of faith, hope, and charity ; .

COMMUNION. Prayer for the Church Militant.......beseeching thee to inspire continually the universal Church with the Spirit of truth, unity, and concord; And grant that all they that do confess thy holy name, may agree in the truth of thy holy Word, and live in unity and godly love.

Exhortation. And if ye shall perceive your offences to be such, as are not only against God, but also against your neighbours; then ye shall reconcile yourselves unto them, being ready to make restitution and satisfaction, according to the uttermost of your power for all injuries and wrongs, done by you to any other; and being likewise ready to forgive others that have offended you, as ye would have forgiveness of your offences at God's hand: for otherwise the receiving of the holy Communion doth nothing else but increase your damnation.
