Families of the Unknown Burton and Squire Burton (Senior)Norma K. Blanton, 1996 - 280 sider Squire Burton (ca. 1790-1873) was born in Virginia and died in Point Cedar, Arkansas; he was the son of the "unknown" Burton. It is possible that John (b. ca. 1797) and Sterling (b. ca. 1801) were Squire's brothers. In 1822, Squire married Rebecca Rhea in Rhea County, Tennessee. They had 10 children between 1823 and 1842. The majority of information concerns John Burton (b. 1828), son of Squire and Rebecca, and his descendants. |
