4 Tuagat am weithredoedd dynion, wrth eiriau dy wefusau yr ymgedwais rhag llwybrau yr yspeilydd. 5 Cynnal fy ngherddediad yn dy lwybrau, fel na lithro fy nhraed. 6 Mi a elwais arnat; canys gwrandewi arnaf fi, O Dduw: gostwng dy glust attaf, ac erglyw fy ymadrodd. rhai a 7 Dangos dy ryfedd drugareddau, O O Achubydd ymddiriedant ynot, rhag y sawl a ymgyfodant yn erbyn dy ddeheulaw. 8 Cadw fi fel canwyll llygad: cudd fi dan gysgod dy adenydd, 9 Rhag yr annuwiolion, y rhai a'm gorthrymmant: rhag fy ngelynion marwol, y rhai a'm hamgylchant. 10 Cauasant gan eu brasder : à'u genau y llefarant mewn balchder. 11 Ein cynniweirfa ni a gylchynasant hwy yr awrhon: gosodasant eu llygaid i dynnu i lawr i'r ddaear. 12 Eu dull sydd fel llew a path of life; in thy presence is the fulness of joy: and at thy right hand there is pleasure for evermore. Psal. xvii. Exaudi, Domine. H EAR the right, O Lord, consider my complaint : and hearken unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips. 2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence: and let thine eyes look upon the thing that is equal. 3 Thou hast proved and visited mine heart in the nightseason; thou hast tried me, and shalt find no wickedness in me : for I am utterly purposed that my mouth shall not offend. 4 Because of men's works, that are done against the words of thy lips: I have kept me from the ways of the destroyer. 5 O hold thou up my goings in thy paths: that my footsteps slip not. 6 I have called upon thee, O God, for thou shalt hear me : incline thine ear to me, and hearken unto my words.. 7 Shew thy marvellous loving-kindness, thou that art the Saviour of them which put their trust in thee: from such as resist thy right hand. 8 Keep me as the apple of an eye: hide me under the shadow of thy wings, 9 From the ungodly that trouble me: mine enemies compass me round about to take away my soul. 10 They are inclosed in their own fat: and their mouth speaketh proud things. 11 They lie waiting in our way on every side: turning their eyes down to the ground; 12 Like as a lion that is greeis llew ieuange yn aros mewn lleoedd dirgel. 13 Cyfod, Arglwydd, achub ei flaen ef, cwympa ef: gwared fy enaid rhag yr annuwiol, yr hwn yw dy gleddyf di. 14 Rhag dynion y rhai yw dy law, O Arglwydd, rhag dynion y byd, y rhai y mae eu rhan yn y bywyd yma, a'r rhai y Ilenwaist eu boliau a'th guddiedig drysor: llawn ydynt o feibion, a gadawant eu gweddill i'w rhai bychain. 15 Myfi a edrychaf ar dy wyneb mewn cyfiawnder: digonir fi, pan ddihunwyf, a'th ddelw di. PRYDNHAWNOL WEDDI. Psal. xviii. Diligam te, Domine. ARAF di, Arglwydd, fy nghadernid. C 2 Yr Arglwydd yw fy nghraig, a'm hymddiffynfa, a'm gwaredydd; fy Nuw, fy nghadernid, yn yr hwn yr ymddiriedaf; fy nharian, a chorn fy iachawdwriaeth, a'm huchel-dwr. 3 Galwaf ar yr Arglwydd canmoladwy: felly y'm cedwir rhag fy ngelynion. 4 Gofidion angau a'm cylchynasant, ac afonydd y fall a'm dychrynasant i. 5 Gofidiau uffern a'm cylchynasant: maglau angau a achubasant fy mlaen. 6 Yn fy nghyfyngder y gelwais ar yr Arglwydd, ac y gwaeddais ar fy Nuw: efe a glybu fy llêf o'i deml, a'm gwaedd ger ei fron a ddaeth i'w glustiau ef. 7 Yna y siglodd ac y crynodd y ddaear; a seiliau'r myn a lion's whelp, lurking in secret places. 13 Up, Lord, disappoint him, and cast him down: deliver my soul from the ungodly, which is a sword of thine; 14 From the men of thy hand, O Lord, from the men, I say, and from the evil world : which have their portion in this life, whose bellies thou fillest with thy hid treasure. 15 They have children at their desire and leave the rest of their substance for their babes. 16 But as for me, I will behold thy presence in righteousness: and when I awake up after thy likeness, I shall be satisfied with it. 2 I will call upon the Lord, which is worthy to be praised : so shall I be safe from mine enemies. 3 The sorrows of death compassed me: and the overflowings of ungodliness made me afraid. 4 The pains of hell came about me: the snares of death overtook me. 5 In my trouble I will call upon the Lord: and complain unto my God. 6 So shall he hear my voice out of his holy temple: and my complaint shall come before him, it shall enter even into his ears. 7 The earth trembled and quaked: the very foundations 15 The springs of waters were seen, and the foundations of the round world were discovered, at thy chiding, O Lord: at the blasting of the breath of thy displeasure. 10 Marchogodd hefyd ar y cerub, ac a ehedodd: ïe, efe a ehedodd ar adenydd y gwynt. 11 Efe a wnaeth dywyllwch yn ddirgelfa iddo; a'i babell o'i amgylch oedd dywyllwch dyfroedd, a thew-gymmylau yr awyr. 12 Gan y disgleirdeb oedd ger ei fron, ei gymmylau a aethant heibio; cenllysg a marwor tanllyd. 13 Yr Arglwydd hefyd a daranodd yn y nefoedd, a'r Goruchaf a roddes ei lêf; cenllysg a marwor tanllyd. 14 Ië, efe a anfonodd ei saethau, ac a'u gwasgarodd hwynt; ac a saethodd ei fellt, ac a'u gorchfygodd hwynt. 15 Gwaelodion y dyfroedd a welwyd, a seiliau'r byd a d ddinoethwyd gan dy gerydd di, O Arglwydd, a chan chwythad anadl dy ffroenau. 16 Anfonodd oddiuchod, cymmerodd fi, tynnodd fi allan o ddyfroedd lawer. 17 Efe a'm gwaredodd oddiwrth fy ngelyn cadarn, a rhag fy nghaseion: canys yr oeddynt yn drech nâ mi. 18. Achubasant fy mlaen yn nydd fy ngofid: ond yr Arglwydd oedd gynhaliad i mi. 19 Dug fi hefyd i ehangder: gwaredodd fi; canys ymhoffodd ynof. 20 Yr Arglwydd a'm gobrwy also of the hills shook, and were removed, because he was wroth. 8 There went a smoke out in his presence: and a consuming fire out of his mouth, so that coals were kindled at it. 9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and it was dark under his feet. 10 He rode upon the cherubims, and did fly: he came flying upon the wings of the wind. 11 He made darkness his secret place: his pavilion round about him with dark water, and thick clouds to cover him. 12 At the brightness of his presence his clouds removed : hail-stones, and coals of fire. 13 The Lord also thundered out of heaven, and the Highest gave his thunder: hail-stones, and coals of fire. 14 He sent out his arrows, and scattered them: he cast forth lightnings, and destroyed them. 16 He shall send down from on high to fetch me: and shall take me out of many waters. 17 He shall deliver me from my strongest enemy, and from them which hate me: for they are too mighty for me. 18 They prevented me in the day of my trouble: but the Lord was my upholder. 19 He brought me forth also into a place of liberty: he brought me forth, even because he had a favour unto me. 20 The Lord shall reward me 28 Thou also shalt light my candle: the Lord my God shall make my darkness to be light. 24 A'r Arglwydd a'm gobrwyodd yn ol fy nghyfiawnder, yn ol purdeb fy nwylaw o flaen ei lygaid ef. 25 A'r trugarog y gwnai drugaredd; a'r gwr perffaith y gwnai berffeithrwydd. 26 A'r glân y gwnai lendid; ac a'r cyndyn yr ymgyndynni. 27 Canys ti a waredi'r bobl gystuddiedig: ond ti a ostyngi olygon uchel. 28 O herwydd ti a oleui fy nghanwyll: : yr Arglwydd fy Nuw a lewyrcha fy nhywyllwch. 29 Oblegid ynot ti y rhedais trwy fyddin; ac yn fy Nuw y llemmais dros fur. 30 Duw sydd berffaith ei ffordd; gair yr Arglwydd sydd wedi ei buro: tarian yw efe i bawb a ymddiriedant ynddo. 31 Canys pwy sydd Dduw heb law yr Arglwydd a phwy sydd graig ond ein Duw ni? 32 Duw sy'n fy ngwregysu à nerth, ac yn gwneuthur fy ffordd yn berffaith. 33 Gosod y mae efe fy nhraed fel traed ewigod; ac ar fy uchelfannau y'm sefydla. 34 Efe sy'n dysgu fy nwylaw i ryfel; fel y dryllir bwa dur yn fy mreichiau. cording to the cleanness of my hands shall he recompense me. 21 Because I have kept the ways of the Lord: and have not forsaken my God, as the wicked doth. 22 For I have an eye unto all his laws: and will not cast out his commandments from me. 23 I was also uncorrupt before him and eschewed mine own wickedness. 24 Therefore shall the Lord reward me after my righteous dealing: and according unto the cleanness of my hands in his eye-sight. 25 With the holy thou shalt be holy: and with a perfect man thou shalt be perfect. 26 With the clean thou shalt be clean: and with the froward thou shalt learn frowardness. 27 For thou shalt save the people that are in adversity : and shalt bring down the high looks of the proud. 29 For in thee I shall discomfit an host of men and with the help of my God I shall leap over the wall. 30 The way of God is an undefiled way: the word of the Lord also is tried in the fire; he is the defender of all them that put their trust in him. 31 For who is God, but the Lord: or who hath any strength, except our God? 32 It is God, that girdeth me with strength of war: and maketh my way perfect. 33 He maketh my feet like harts' feet and setteth me up on high. 34 He teacheth mine hands to fight and mine arms shall break even a bow of steel. 35 Rhoddaist hefyd i mi darian dy iachawdwriaeth; a'th ddeheulaw a'm cynhaliodd, a'th fwynder a'm llïosogodd. 36 Ehengaist fy ngherddediad danaf; fel na lithrodd fy nhraed. 37 Erlidiais fy ngelynion, ac a'u goddiweddais: ac ni ddychwelais nes eu difa hwynt. 38 Archollais hwynt, fel na allent godi: syrthiasant dan fy nhraed. 39 Canys gwregysaist fi â nerth i ryfel: darostyngaist danaf y rhai a ymgododd i'm herbyn. 40 Rhoddaist hefyd i mi warau fy ngelynion; fel y difethwn fy nghaseion. 41 Gwaeddasant, ond nid oedd achubydd: sef ar yr Arglwydd, ond nid attebodd efe hwynt. 42 Maluriais hwynt hefyd fel llwch o flaen y gwynt: teflais hwynt allan megis tom yr heolydd. 43 Gwaredaist fi rhag cynhennau'r bobl; gosodaist fi yn ben cenhedloedd: pobl nid adnabûm, a'm gwasanaethant. 44 Pan glywant am danaf, ufuddhânt i mi: meibion dïeithr a gymmerant arnynt ymddarostwng i mi. 45 Meibion dïeithr a ballant, ac a ddychrynant allan o'u dirgel fannau. 46 Byw yw'r Arglwydd, a bendithier fy nghraig: a dyrchafer Duw fy iachawdwriaeth. 47 Duw sydd yn rhoddi i mi allu ymddïal, ac a ddarostwng y 35 Thou hast given me the defence of thy salvation: thy right hand also shall hold me up, and thy loving correction shall make me great. 36 Thou shalt make room enough under me for to go : that my footsteps shall not slide. 37 I will follow upon mine enemies, and overtake them : neither will I turn again till I have destroyed them. 38 I will smite them, that they shall not be able to stand: but fall under my feet. 39 Thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou shalt throw down mine enemies under me. 40 Thou hast made mine enemies also to turn their backs upon me and I shall destroy them that hate me. 41 They shall cry, but there shall be none to help them: yea, even unto the Lord shall they cry, but he shall not hear them. 42 I will beat them as small as the dust before the wind: I will cast them out as the clay in the streets. 43 Thou shalt deliver me from the strivings of the people: and thou shalt make me the head of the heathen. 44 A people whom I have not known: shall serve me. 45 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: but the strange children shall dissemble with me. 46 The strange children shall fail: and be afraid out of their prisons. 47 The Lord liveth, and blessed be my strong helper: and praised be the God of my salvation. 48 Even the God that seeth that I be avenged: and sub |
