In Medicine at a Glance, the editor and expert author team have produced a concise revision text, which provides medical students with a unique introduction and guide to the core curriculum in medicine.

Medicine at a Glance follows the familiar, double-page format of the at a Glance series. This excellent book is divided into two sections covering over 60 clinical presentations and over 150 diseases. The clinical presentations section focuses on the signs and symptoms of common medical presentations. Topics cover the differential diagnoses of common complaints, together with simple approaches to making a diagnosis. The section on medical diseases covers the major medical conditions in a logical way, providing the reader with the basic facts necessary for an understanding of each topic.

The book’s simplicity of structure and fantastic colour summary diagrams combine to provide a vital tool for recall of key facts relevant to the medical course. Medicine at a Glance will be an indispensable guide for busy medical students and will be useful as an aide-mémoire for examinations and for work in the clinic and on the ward.
