R Quinia sulph, ferri redacti aa. 3 i, acid arsenius, strychnia sulph. aa. gr. ii, ext. gent. q. s. Pill No. lx. One three times a day to strengthen the nerves and nerve centers.

General supporting measures should be adopted during the course of the disease.

The President-Members of the State Medical Society, the hour for beginning our Thirty-Eighth Annual Meeting is now at hand. Will you please stand and be led in prayer by Rev. A. W. Lamport.

Rev. A. W. Lamport, of Indianapolis, opened the session with prayer.

By consent the roll call was omitted till afternoon.

The Committee on Credentials was announced by the Secretary as follows:

Committee on Credentials-H. D. Wood, G. W. Woolen, Wm. Spencer, B. F. Day and Jonas L. Stewart.

The Committee on Finance was announced by the Secretary as follows:

Committee on Finance-C. W. Burket, Chairman; John Rea, Marie Haslep, H. C. Davidson and T. S. Galbraith.

The report of the Committee on Arrangements, by Dr. John H. Oliver, Chairman, was read, and on motion was received and adopted, the financial part being referred to the Committee on Finance. It is as follows:

Your Committee on Arrangements desire to make the following report: The usual reduction in railroad fare and hotel rates has been obtained and a circular letter noting these arrangements mailed to each member of the Society. The following is the bill of expenditures:

At its Thirty-eighth Annual Meeting :

For the seventh time I have the pleasure and honor of making you the Secretary's annual report. At the time of our last meeting I had collected annual dues for the current year from 924 members, received annual reports from 56 county societies. Subsequently I collected dues from 215 additional members and received reports from 11 additional auxiliary societies, mak
