POEM

All things beautiful and fair......

As in the shepherd's bosom

As the sun's enlivening eye......

Before the weariness of age......

Before we close our eyes to-night..

Acquaint thee, O mortal, acquaint thee with God.
After the shower, the tranquil sun..........................................
A little word in kindness spoken......

All men are equal in their birth.....

A minute, how soon it is flown...
Angry looks can do no good.

As on through life's journey we go day by day...

Beauteous is the summer..........

Be gentle to each other...

Be good, sweet child, and let who will be clever...
