PUBLISHER'S ADVERTISEMENT.

THE success of the first series of the Table-Talk in the Library of Choice Reading has induced the publishers to undertake a complete collection of all the popular writings of William Hazlitt. Two additional volumes have already appeared, the Lectures on the Writers of the Age of Elizabeth, and on the Characters of Shakspeare's Plays. These will be immediately followed by the Lectures on the English Poets, and on the Comic Writers. A volume on Art, the Travels in Italy, the Spirit of the Age, the Round Table, Miscellaneous Essays and Reviews, Passages from the Life of Bonaparte, the Characteristics, &c., will appear in rapid succession.

The present numbers of the Table-Talk embrace, with those already published, nearly the entire contents of the London editions of the Table-Talk and Plain Speaker, with extensive additions from the Literary Remains. Many of Hazlitt's papers are yet uncollected from the magazines and reviews. Whatever remains will be carefully sought for and included, with the Critical Essays on his Life by Talfourd and Bulwer, in a final volume.
