The New York Post-Graduate Medical School has the largest Hospital connected with it of any Institution of the same character in this country.

There are 183 beds. The teaching is entirely clinical. Thorough access is given to the Dispensary and Warde of the Institution. The Laboratory gives the most thorough practical instruction in bacteriology, clinical microscopy and normal and pathological histology. The instruction is only open to prac titioners of medicine, who may enter at any time.
