LISTERINE is a powerful

non-toxic, non-escharotic antiseptic.

It is a saturated solution of boric acid, reinforced by the antiseptic properties of ozoniferous oils.

It is unirritating, even when applied to the most delicate tissue.

It does not coagulate serous albumen.

It is quite generally accepted as the standard antiseptic preparation for those purposes where a poisonous or corrosive disinfectant can not be used with safety.

It is particularly useful in the treatment of abnormal conditions of the mucosa, and admirably suited for a wash, gargle or douche in catarrhal conditions of the nose and throat.

In proper dilution, it may be freely and continuously used without prejudicial effect, either by injection or spray, in all the natural cavities of the body.

There is no possibility of poisonous effect through the absorption of Listerine.

"The Inhibitory Action of Listerine," a 128-page pamphlet descriptive of the antiseptic, and indicating its utility in medical, surgical and dental practice, may be had upon application to the manufacturers, Lambert Pharmacal Co., St. Louis,

Missouri, but the best advertisement of Listerine is

DRUG ADDICTIONS

involves either sudden or gradual withdrawal of the drug. Careful physicians know
that the method of gradual reduction is successful in the vast majority of cases; and
a large per cent regard

HYOS-SCO-PHINE

as their most valuable aid during the process. Hyos-Sco-Phine has put the treatment
of drug addicts on a humane and scientific basis.

These tablets are prepared for hypodermic or internal use. They have been subjected
to severe clinical tests and have satisfactorily supplied the requirements of a large
number of physicians for over four years, in cases of various narcotic drug addictions.
We ask you to try Hyos-Sco-Phine in your practice at our risk. On receipt of infor-
mation giving quantity and kind of drug used by patient, we will send any physician a
free sample of the proper sized tablets, also clinical reports.
