2 And immediately I was in the SPIRIT and behold, a THRONE was fet in HEAVEN, and one fat upon the THRONE.

3 And he that fat was to look upon like a Jafper, and a Sardine ftone: and there was a Rainbow round about the Throne, in Sight like unto an Emerald.

4 And round about the Throne were four and twenty Seats and upon the Seats I faw four and twenty Elders fitting, clothed in white Raiment ; and they had on their Heads CROWNS of GOLD.

s And out of the THRONE proceeded LIGHTNINGS, and THUNDERINGS, and VOICES, and there were feven Lamps of Fire burning before the THRONE, which are the feven SPIRITS of GOD.

Rev. x. 1 I faw another MIGHTY ANGEL come down from HEAVEN, clothed with a CLOUD, and a RAINBOW was upon his Head, and his FACE was as it were the SUN, and his Feet as Pillars of Fire.

8 For he faid, Surely they are my fo he was their SAVIOUR

21 a BEWARE of him, and OBEY his VOICE, provoke him not for he will not pardon your Tranfgreffions: for. my Name is in him.

9 In all their Affliction he was afflicted, and the ANGEL of his PRESENCE SAVED them: in his Love and in his PITY he REDEEMED them, and he BARE them, and carried them all the Days of old.

28 And I will fend Hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before thee.

29 I will not drive them out from before thee in one Year; left the Land become defolate, and the Beasts of the Field multiply against thee.

30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the Land. 31 b And I will set thy BOUNDS from the RED SEA even unto the Sea of the Philiftines, and from the Defart even unto the RIVER*: for I will deliver the Inhabitants of the Land into your Hand; and thou fhalt drive them out before thee.

CHA P. XXIV.

Mofes is called up into the Mountain. 3 The People promise Obedience. 9 The Glory of GoD appeareth. 14 Aaron

Ver. 1 ND he faid unto Mofes, Come up unto the LORD, thou and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and feventy of the Elders of Ifrael and worship ye afar off.

2 And Mofes alone fhall come near the LORD: but they fhall not come nigh, neither fhall the People go up with him.

3 And Mofes came and told the People all the Words of the LORD, and all the Judgments: and all the People anfwered with one Voice, and faid, All the Words which the LORD hath faid, will we do.

*That is the River Euphrates.

4 And Mofes wrote all the Words of the LORD, and rofe up early in the Morning, and builded an Altar under the Hill, and twelve Pillars according to the twelve Tribes of Ifrael.

5 And he fent young Men of the Children of Ifrael, which offered Burnt-offerings, and facrificed Peace-offerings of Oxen unto the LORD.

6 And Mofes took half of the Blood, and put it in Bafons; and half of the Blood he fprinkled on the Altar.

7 And he took the Book of the Covenant, and read in the Audience of the People: and they faid, All that the LORD hath faid, will we do, and be obedient.

8 And Mofes took the Blood and fprinkled it on the People, and faid, Behold, the Blood of the Covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these Words.

9 Then went up Mofes and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and feventy of the Elders of Ifrael.

10 And they SAW the GOD of Ifrael and there was UNDER his FEET, as it were a paved Work of a SAPPHIRE-STONE, and as were the BoDy of HEAVEN in his CLEARNESS.

13 And Mofes rofe up, and his Minifter Jofhua: and Mofes went up into the Mount of GOD.

14 And he faid unto the Elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you and behold, Aaron and Hur are with you if any Man have any Matters to do, let him come unto them.

15 And Mofes went up into the Mount, and a Cloud covered the Mount.

16 And the GLORY of the LORD ABODE upon MOUNT Sinai and the CLOUD Covered it fix Days: and the feventh Day he called unto Mofes out of the midst of the Cloud.

6 And before the THRONE there was a SEA of Glafs like unto Crystal: and in the midst of the THRONE, and round about the THRONE, were four Beafts, full of Eyes before and behind

10 The four and twenty Elders fall down before him that fat on the THRONE, and WORSHIP him that LIVETH for ever and ever, and caft their CROWNS before the THRONE. faying,

II Thou art worthy O LORD to receive GLORY, and HONOUR, and PowER for thou haft CREATED all Things, and for thy PLEASURE they ARE, and WERE CREATED.

s Then faid I, Wo is me, for I am undone, becaule I am a Man of UNCLEAN LIPS, and I dwell in the midst of a People of unclean Lips: for mine Eyes have feen the KING, the LORD of HOSTS.

6 Then flew one of the SERAPHIMS unto me, having a live Coal in his Hand, which he had taken with the Tongs from off the Altar.

7 And he LAID it upon my Mouth, and faid Lo, this hath TOUCHED thy Lips, and thine INIQUITY is taken away, and thy SIN PURGED.
