Humble us under a deep conviction of our own helplessness,-enlighten our minds, and sanctify our affections, that we may humbly receive, and cordially embrace that profound mystery which Thy Holy Church this day adores with special regard. Deliver us, O Lord, from all false doctrine, heresy, and schism; and enable us to hold fast the form of sound words, which we have heard, in faith and love. Give us grace that we may worship Thee as ONE God, one Lord; not only ONE PERSON, but THREE PERSONS IN ONE SUBSTANCE. For that which we believe of the glory of the Father, the same we believe of any the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, without difference or inequality. Therefore with angels and archangels, and with all the company of heaven, we would laud and magnify Thy glorious Name; evermore praising Thee and saying,-Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of Thy glory; Glory be to Thee O Lord most High.
