In Compliance with the requirements XI. of the Constitution and Canon 48 § hereby offically make known the followi tions in the Constitution of the Church and adopted in the General Convention to wit, those comprised in the subjoine tions and to be acted upon in the Genera tion of 1919.

RESOLUTIONS

RESOLVED, That the following change be made in the Constitution, and that the proposed alteration be made known to the several Dioceses, in order that the same may be adopted in the next Genera Convention in accordance with Article XI. of the Constitution:

Amend Section 2 of Article I. by inserting after the word 'infirmity' in the third line thereof the following: "or who under an election to an office created by the General Convention."

RESOLVED. That the following change be made in the Constitution, and that the proposed alteration be made known to the several Dioceses. in order that the same may be adopted in the next Genera' Convention in accordance with Article XI. of the Constitution:

Strike out Section 3 of Article I. and insert in place thereof the following:

Section 3. Upon the expiration of the term of office of the Presiding Bishop, the General Convention shall elect the Presiding Bishop of the Church. The House of Bishops shall choose one of the Bishops having jurisdiction within the United States to be the Presiding Bishop of the Church by a vote of a majority of all the Bishops entitled to vote in the House of Bishops, such choice to be subject to confirmation by the House of Deputies. His term and tenure of office and duties shal' be prescribed by the Canons of the General Convention.

But if the Presiding Bishop of the Church shall resign his office as such, or if he shall resign his episcopal jurisdiction, or if by reason of infirmity he shall become disabled, or in case of his death, the senior Bishop of this Church in the order of consecration, raving jurisdiction within the United States, shall thereupon become the Presiding Bishop of the Church until an election of Presiding Bishop be held by the General Convention.

RESOLVED. That the following change be made in the Constitution, and that the proposed alteration be made known to the several Dioceses, in order that the same may be adopted in the next General Convention in accordance with Article XI. of the Constitution:

Amend Article II. by the insertion of the following as Section 5 of said Article, the present Section 5 to be renumbered as Section 6:

Strike out the second paragraph of Article IX. of and insert in place thereof the following:

"Presbyters and Deacons canonically resident in be tried by a Court instituted by the Convention ters and Deacons canonically resident in a Mis shall be tried according to Canons adopted by the vocation thereof, with the approval of the House vided, that the General Convention in each case m Canon for a change of venue."
