L DEDICATION To the great masses everywhere, who are this booklet is prayerfully dedicated PREFACE FOR a number of years we have witnessed the confused ideas and felt the great need of something of a very plain nature, but yet of authority and certainty for the masses, on just what the Scriptures teach concerning the end of the world and the life to come. Thus we were moved to select the unique plan of this little volume. It is in no sense the writer's own interpretations or ideas that are presented, but the facts of Holy Scripture in the words of the Bible, regardless of creed or denomination. These divine truths, we trust, shall find their way into the secret chambers of the mind and heart of every reader unto his salvation. Some may be astonished or offended at certain statements, as were some at the time of Christ, for the contents are largely the words of the same Master. Repeatedly He referred to the Scriptures. So do we, for they alone speak with divine authority. We have grouped the passages dealing directly with the subjects, in order to make the teachings more available, complete, plain and certain for the great mass |
