The Cheshire Welter Cup, value 100 sov. the rest in specie, by subscription of 20 sov. each, 10 ft. and 5 only if declared on or before the 15th of March; twice round and a distance; to be ridden by Members or Sons of Members of White's, Brookes's, Boodle's, the Jockey Club, Goodwood, Heaton Park, Eglinton Park, or Bibury Clubs, or qualified as for the Corinthian stakes at the Curragh, or Members of any duly established Racing or Fox-hunting Club.

Weights to be published on the 4th of March; the winner of any handicap of the value of 200 sov. clear after the declaration of the weights to carry 5fb. and the winner of the Trades' cup, 7tb. extra, but not to be accumulative.
