The Craven, Hunters' stakes, cup, and plates to close on Saturday before the races.

A gold Cup, value 100 sov. given by the Inhabitants of Stirling, with 25 added by the Stewards, and 25 by W. R. Ramsay, Esq. increased by a Handicap Sweepstakes of 15 sov. each, 10 ft. and 5 if declared; two miles. The winner to pay 20 sov. towards police expenses, and the second horse to save his stake.

To close and name to the Secretary at Stirling, on or before the 1st of June; weights to be declared by the 15th of June, and acceptances before the 1st of July 1847. Any one receiving a nomination, and not declaring forfeit, to be liable for the whole stake.

The gold Cup, value 1001. with the surplus in specie, of 10 sov. each, 2 sov. ft. for bona fide hunters, that have been regularly hunted with any pack of hounds during the season of 1846 and 1847, and can produce a letter of qualification of having been hunted six times before Christmas, and six times after, by the Master of the Hounds they have been hunted with; four yrs old, 10st. 91b. five, 11st. 7fb. six, 12st. and aged, 12st. 2lb. mares and geldings allowed 3b. a winner in 1847, before starting, to carry 51b. twice, 8lb. extra; two miles and a half. The winner to pay 10 sov. towards any expenses the Stewards may direct; the second horse to save his stake; this and all the stakes and matches, except the Farmers' plate, to be ridden by Gentlemen, Members, or Sons of
