FIRST DAY, Wednesday, July the 30th.-A Maiden Plate of 50 sov. given from the Racing-fund, for horses, &c. of all ages, that never won at any one time plate, match, or sweepstakes, of the value of 50 sov. before the time of starting; three yrs old to carry 7st. 2lb. four, 8st. 51b. five, 9st. six and aged, 9st. 6fb. mares and geldings allowed 31b. heats, twice round.

The Claret Stakes of 10 sov. each, with 40 sov. added from the Racing-fund, for three yrs old colts, to carry 8st.7lb. and fillies, 8st. 31b. to start at the Style-turn, and go once round, about one mile and three quarters; the winner of 1001. previous to the day of running to carry 5lb, extra; the second horse to save his stake.

To close and name on or before the first day of March. Four horses to start, or the money added will be withdrawn.

The Martin's Angel Inn and London Tavern Stakes of 5 sov. each, with 20 sov. added by Mr Martin, the spirited lessee of the Grand Stand; heats, once round; three yrs old, 8st. four, 9st. five, 9st. 61b. six and aged, 9st. 8ib. mares and geldings allowed 31b. the winner to be sold for 2001. in the usual way, if demanded within a quarter of an hour of the race; if to be sold for 1501. to be allowed 71b. for 1001. 141b. for 801. 18fb. and for 501. 21tb, allowances to be claimed at the time of entry; four to start, or the money added will be withdrawn.

SECOND DAY, Thursday, July the 1st.-The Corby Castle Stakes of 10 sov. each, with 40 sov. added, for two yrs old colts, 8st. 71b. and fillies, 8st. 3lb. the second horse to save his stake; T.Y.C. winners once after the day of naming to carry 31b. extra; twice, 5lb. extra. To close and name on or before the first day of March. Four horses to start, or the money added will be withdrawn.

The Cumberland Plate of 200 sov. for horses, &c. of all ages, added to a Handicap Sweepstakes of 25 sov. each, 15 ft. and 5 only if declared on or before the thirty-first day of March; twice round and a distance; the second to save his stake. The winner to subscribe the following year, and pay 25 sov. towards expenses, and give two two dozen of Champagne; a winner of a handicap (subsequent to the declaration of weights) of 200 sov. or upwards, to carry 61b. extra ; of two of that value, 9lb. extra; the winner of the Derby 9fb. extra. Owners of horses taking a nomination, and not declaring forfeit by the time prescribed, to be liable to the payment of the stake, or the larger forfeit, as the case may be.

To close and name on the Ist of March; the weights to be published on the 16th.

The Innkeepers' Plate of 50 sov. for horses of all ages: the winner to be sold for 150gs if demanded within half an hour after the race, the stewards reserving the power of first claiming for the benefit of the Race-fund, if they think fit to do so, the owner of the second horse being next entitled; three yrs old to carry 7st. 21b. four, 8st. five, 8st. 71b. six and aged, 8st. 12lb. horses, mares, or geldings that have never won the value of 50 sov. in plate or stake before the time of starting, allowed 3lb. heats, twice round.

The Grand Stand Stakes of 5 sov, each, with 30 sov. added by the Proprietors of the Grand Stand, for horses of all ages; two yrs old to carry 6st. 41b. three, 8st. 5fb. four, 9st. 4lb. five, 9st. 10tb. six and aged, 10st. mares and geldings allowed 2tb. The winner to pay 3gs to the Racing-fund. Four to start, or the money added will be withdrawn; once round and a distance.

THIRD DAY, Friday, July the 2nd. - The Lottery Stakes (handicap) of 10 sov. each, with 40 added from the Racing-fund; the second to save his stake; a winner of a handicap (subsequent to the declaration of weights) of 200 sov. or upwards to carry 6lb. of two of that value, 9tb. extra; the winner of the Derby, 9lb. to start at the Style-turn and go once round, about one mile and three quarters. Four to start, or the money added will be withdrawn.

To close and name on or before the first day of March, and to be handicapped by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, by the sixteenth.

Her Majesty's Plate of 100gs for horses of all ages; three yrs old, 7st. 9lb. four, 9st. five, 9st. 9lb. six and aged 10st heats, twice round.

The Carlisle Stakes of 10 sov. each, with 30 sov. added from the Racing-fund, for two and three yrs old; two yrs old colts, 6st. 7fb. fillies, 6st. 31b. three yrs old colts, 8st. 7lb. fillies, 8st. 3b. The winner to pay 3gs to the Racing-fund; a winner once in the present year to carry 3lb. twice, 5lb. thrice, 7lb. extra. Four to start, or the money added will be withdrawn; from the Style-turn in.

The Shakspeare Stakes of 5 sov. each, with 20 sov. added by Mr Daly, the spirited lessee of the Carlisle Theatre; heats, once round; three yrs old, 8st. four, 9st. five, 9st. 6tb. six and aged, 9st. 8lb. mares and geldings allowed 31b. the winner to be sold for 2001. in the usual way, if demanded within a quarter of an hour after the race; if to be sold for 1501. to be allowed 7tb. for 1001. 14fb. for 801. 18tb. and for 501. 211b. EPSOM SPRING MEETING, 1847,

Will take place on Friday the 16th of April, being the week between the Newmarket Craven and First Spring Meeting.

(FIRST RACE). -The Epsom Trial Stakes of 5 sov. each, with 50 added by Sir Gilbert Heathcote, Bart. for three yrs old, 7st. and four, 9st, one mile.

To close and name on Wednesday the 14th of April, by five o'clock, to Mr Dorling, Epsom.

The Great Metropolitan Stakes of 25 sov. each, 15 ft. and 5 only if declared, with a bonus of 500 sov. added by the contributions of the Lovers of the National Sport of Racing, resident in the City of London, and Metropolitan districts, together with gratuities from, and subscriptions received by, the Licensed Victuallers of the Metropolis, and also deductions from sweeps drawn at their houses, which they have liberally appropriated to this race; the owner of the second horse to receive 100 sov, out of the stakes, and the third horse, 50 sov. The winner to pay 30 sov. towards the expenses; Great Metropolitan stakes Course, two miles and a quarter; to start at the Winning-chair; the winners of the Newmarket handicap, or the Great Northampton stakes, to carry 5lb. of both, 7fb.
