To close on the Monday after Goodwood, and the horses to be named to Messrs Weatherby, in London, or to the Clerk of the Course, Egham, on or before that day.

The winner to pay 15 sov. to the Judge, and to subscribe to the stakes in 1848; two miles and a distance.
