LibraryThing Review

Brugeranmeldelse  - Ma_Washigeri - LibraryThing

And a half star. I'm not sure whether I would have liked the book as much if I hadn't seen the TV series. And I'll never know! However if I hadn't seen the series I would never have started the book - too many pages and too many books to follow. And I'm definitely not going to read part 2. Læs hele anmeldelsen

beginning of series (Joe liked) I don't think I'll go further - no sleeper, but lots of work mid-way... sad to say I don't have the time to dedicate. Perhaps after I've won the lottery & have my ... Læs hele anmeldelsen

LibraryThing Review

Brugeranmeldelse  - LJayLeBlanc - LibraryThing

A decent beginning to a long and drawn our series. It's okay as "fantasy" novels go, but it really doesn't live up to all the hype. Way too much gratuitous sex and obscenity. Dotrice does a standup job on the narration. Several times, when I wanted to put the book down, Dotrice kept me at it. Læs hele anmeldelsen

Review: A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire #1)

Brugeranmeldelse  - Kramer Thompson - Goodreads

Reasonably engaging, with very readable writing. Unfortunately, I didn't care too much about the characters. This may be in part due to me already being familiar with the story from watching the TV series, but I did not have a similar problem with the Lord of the Rings books. Læs hele anmeldelsen

I have mixed feelings about this book. I finally read it because I wanted to form my own opinion about it after hearing so much about this series and the TV show. Let's start with the good first. I ... Læs hele anmeldelsen

So after the last season finished airing, season 6 in case you were wondering, I felt excited for the first time about the show, it disappointed me a lot so far, but for the first time I felt a spark ... Læs hele anmeldelsen

Brugeranmeldelse  - Sarah Bruton - Goodreads

Initially, the book seemed overkill, but as I forced my way beyond the first 100 pages, I started enjoying it. Many of my friends are huge Game of Throne tv series fan, but I had never fallen into ... Læs hele anmeldelsen

Review: A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire #1)

Brugeranmeldelse  - Maryana Pinchuk - Goodreads

I had to check several times to make sure I hadn't accidentally picked up a novelization of the show. But it doesn't matter that I already know everything that's going to happen; unlike Dany, I can't wait any longer to get back to Westeros! Læs hele anmeldelsen

Brugeranmeldelse  - Annie - Goodreads

I wasn't going to review this one, but damn it, I've been reading it for two months straight now exactly (according to goodreads) and I deserve it. Since I've been reading it for so long, you'd think ... Læs hele anmeldelsen
