It defines in an understanding way the selection and plan for the family God chose to represent Him here on earth, delineatiing their sojourn history, their development, accomplishments, perils, downfall, and resurection to current day status, .

It describes the chosen family''s decision process within which their sinful ways and activities led to varying degrees of punishment. But yet, it gives them renewed hope for achieving God''s plan for mankind through the reiterating process of God''s word.

It gives a description of the Holy land, its boundaries, and tribal allocations, describing what it was in Joshua''s time and what it is yet to be. Delineating that parcel of land which is yet to be totally set aside and allocated for the sole purpose and use by The Lord God in support of the holy city of Jerusalem (The Lord Is There) and Holy Temple where He will reign here on earth for 1,000 years. 

It speaks of the first resurrection and the second coming of The Lord Jesus Christ, His reign on earth, the second resurrection after the 1,000 year reign of The Lord, and final judgment of mankind by Him.

A Chronology of events relating to Israel''s wellbeing is provided, and a Time Table delineating dates of specific events is also attached.

It is with prayer and hope that all readers will find this book of special value, educational, and of profound benifit for all.

The author, Charles Anderson Godby Jr., a Coal Miner''''s son, was born around 7:30 PM, May 21st 1927, in Whipple West Virginia, on an historical date - which remembers Charles A Lindberg, who flew solo across the Atlantic Ocean, and on that day, landed in Paris France shortly after 10:00 PM local time. He is the eldest of seven siblings, of five boys and two girls, all born unto Charles Anderson Godby Sr and Viola Pearl (Persinger) Godby, in different places throughout the state of West Virginia. Namely, Carl Robert Godby born January 8th 1929 in Sun West Virginia, William Benson Godbey born February 22nd 1932 in Ecles West Virginia, Freda Jane (Godby) Daly born March 8th 1936 in Webster Springs west Virginia, Lawrence Ayden Godby born February 13th 1937 in Marfrance west Virginia, Ronald Lenard Godby born March 30th 1942 and Carolin Sue Godby born April 6th 1949 both at Charleston General Hospital in Charleston west Virginia.He became a Christian at the age of eleven while living in Marfrance West Virginia, the birthplace of his brother Lawerence. He, after working a short time as a National Youth Administration (NYA) graduate in National Defense work, entered the United States Navy and served therein during the last year of World War II. Afterward, at the age of 20, on December 3rd 1947, he married Lillian Deloris (Ingram) Godby. As a result of the Korean War, He reintered the United States Navy on April 1st 1952, where he remained on active duty and served a total of 21 years, retiring August 31st 1972. Afterward, following his Naval career, he entered Civil Service and served The Naval Air Systems Command in Washington DC as a Logistics Management Specialist for 15 additional years. He then retired from his government postiion, accepted employmet with The Boeing Aerospace Company in Seattle Washington as a Logistics Manager, worked for them 8 years, and retired August 31st 1994. He and Lillian are the parents of four sons - Charles David, Gary Joseph, Mark Alan, and Michael Wayne; all of whom are married, and have rewarded them with 12 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.
