Nevertheless Solomon, in his old age, did evil in the sight of the Lord; and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father; but burnt incense, and sacrificed unto strange gods.
And Solomon reigned forty years; and died and was buried in the city of David: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

And two hundred and fifty years after the death of king Solomon. Hezekiah began to reign. And he trusted in the Lord God of Israel, and kept his commandments. And the Lord was with him, and preserved hiin from his enemies.

Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bare a son, and shall call his name Emanuel, GOD WITH US.

The eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped: the lame man shall leap as a bart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing.
