And she bare a son, and called his naine Samson; and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him, And he was a very strong man, yea the strongest of the sons of men; and he smote the Philistines.

Then when the famine in Judea had ceased, Naomi prepared to return to Bethlehem : and she took leave of her daughters-in-law. But Ruth would not leave her.
