It is as such counselor that this Society offers its aid. It may do far less in the way of raising money for the different colleges than they can do by the direct solicitation of their own accredited agents; but it is able to gather and place at the disposal of the individual benefactor or church, information as to the relative needs of the colleges, and the probable value of proposed gifts, which could be secured in no other way. As such it is worthy of the continued support of every giver who finds pleasure in bestowing his gifts where they will do the most good, and who remembers that at last he is to render account no less for the wisdom than for the willingness of his stewardship. |
