Mat. 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Col. 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

1 Tim. 4: 12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Tit. 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8 Sound speech that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

178. Good examples to be followed-Bad ones to be avoided. Ex. 23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil. Mat. 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do: but do not ye after their works for they say, and do not.

Rom. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

1 Cor. 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Rom. 10:9 If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the neart, man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Heb. 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.

Rom. 4:20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded, that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

2 Cor. 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Gal. 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
