ENCOURAGEMENT AND DIRECTIONS FOR PRAYER.

JOB Xi. 13-16.

If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him; if iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee; my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is ; to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

The humble shall see this, and be glad and your heart shall live that seek God. For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
