With the exception of that by the lately deceased Rev. William Limont, all the Sermons in the Volume are by living Ministers : and the only other not prepared for the press by the author himself, is that of the Rev. John Barr, whose lamented indisposition has prevented him from doing this service.

The publisher sends forth the volume to the public, in the hope, that it will prove as useful to those who peruse it, as honourable to those who have furnished its contents.
