being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were recon. ciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet ap-,

pear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

(6) Children (of God):

ROM. viii. 16, 17, 21.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For, ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corrup tion into the glorious liberty of the chil

dren of God.
