Questioning Technology

In this introduction to the study of the philosophy and politics of technology, Andrew Feenberg argues that technology is much more embedded and central to our social and political structures than we realise. We see that the rise and advance of information technology accounts for technologies ultimately crucial social and political position. Feenberg shows us that technology is the medium of daily life in modern societies. Every major technical change reverberates at countless levels: economic, political, religious and cultural.
