THE CELEBRATED RACE HORSE

BLACKFOOT

Will stand this season at KILLYNON, county Westmeath, within five miles of Mullingar, five of Castletown Delvin, seven of Kinnegad, and seven of Castlepollard.

Bred Mares Four Guineas, all others Two Guineas, and a crown to the groom, James Reynolds. The money to be paid at first service.

Good grass at 8d. per night, and the strictest attention paid to mares and foals.

Blackfoot was bred by George Watts, Esq., of the Curragh, and is got by (his) Blacklock, dam (also the dam of Whitefoot and Magpie) the Kitten, by the Sligo Waxy; Basilia, by Master Bagot-Woodpecker-Sister to Juniper, by Snap, out of Marsks's dam by Blank. He is a beautiful blood bay, with perfect shape, stands 16 hands high and upwards, with great bone and sinew, free from any natural blemish or eyesore, and though a racer has the most perfect action of a road horse.

BROWN MOLTON

Brown Molton is a beautiful dark brown, free from white, with the exception of a small star. He stands 15 hands 3 inches high, with great bone and muscle, and free from any blemish. From his perfect action and beautiful shapes, he must produce good stock.

Good grass at 8d. per night, and the strictest attention paid to mares and foals.

The Proprietor will not be accountable for any accident that may happen to mares sent to this horse.

BASHFUL

Will stand this season at the CLUB HOUSE, KILDARE. He will be let to Mares on the following terms, viz.

Thorough-bred Mares, Four Sovereigns. Half-bred

Mares, One Sovereign.

Thorough-bred Mares who have been winners, or who have produced a winner of over £50, not including their own stake, will be served gratis.

Any person putting three Mares to Bashful shall have one served gratis.

Groom's fee in all cases, 2s. 6d.

Bashful was bred in 1841, was got by Glaucus (brother to Hymen, sire of Corranna) out of Modesty, by Fungus, gr-dam by Juniper out of Trimbush by Teddy-the-grinder, great-gr-dam Princess by Sir Peter.

Glaucus was got by Partisan, own brother to Promise (the dam of Freney,) out of Nanine by Selim, her dam Bizarre by Peruvian, out of Violante by John Bull-sister to Skyscraper by Highflier, Everlasting by Eclipse, Hyena by Snap, Miss Belsea by Regulus, Bartlet's Childers, Honeywood's Arabian-dam of the two True Blues. Partisan was got by Walton out of Parasol, by Pot8-os out of Prunella, by Highflier.

Bashful is a beautiful dappled bay, with black legs without any white, a remarkably handsome head, fine lengthy rein, oblique shoulders, broad chest, with round ribs, short back, large muscular quarters, capital legs and feet, 15 hands 3 inches in height, was esteemed for his magnificent racing action, is a splendid stepper on the road, a most accomplished fencer, and possesses that essential qualification, the most docile of tempers.

Bashful has covered but four seasons, and but one of his produce has appeared in public, viz. Finance out of Brazil, an untried mare. Finance won the Two Year Old Stakes at the Heath, beating the produce of Birdcatcher, Magpie, Tearaway, &c.

Bashful's stock are most promising 50 sovs having been refused for a yearling by him out of a half-bred mare. The owner will not be accountable for any accident that may happen to mares.

Good grass, bran, &c. at the usual prices.

The money to be paid at first service.

Should it remain due after the 1st of November, double the amount will be charged.

CORRANNA,

A bay horse of great power, by Hymen, brother to Glaucus, dam by Perchance, gr-dam by WaltonSorcerer-Medora's dam, by Sir Harry, will stand at CURRAGHMORE, Carrick-on-Suir, this season, at Five Pounds, and 5s. to the groom.

The owner of Corranna has subscribed to the National Stakes for mares to be covered in 1852, and to run in October, 1855.

CROZIER.

CROZIER will serve Mares this season (1852) at ARDEE, county of Louth, Ireland, within four miles of the Dublin and Belfast Railroad at the Dunleer station.
