The weights put down opposite each horse in their respective races are those carried by them. This alteration has been considered necessary to do away with the constant repetitions in articles when additional weights are carried and when allowances are made in them.

The Tipperary Welter Hurdle Stakes of 2 sovs each, with 20 sovs added. Wt for age. A winner once, 5lb extra. Horses that never won allowed 5lb. One mile and a half heats, over six flights of hurdles, 4 feet high.
