CLINICAL ADVANTAGES. The union of clinical with didactic teaching is carried out to the fullest possible extent in the curriculum of the Nashville Medical College, now the Medical Department of the University of Tennessee. For this purpose, the City Dispensary since the last session of the College bas been located in one of the rooms on the ground floor of the College building, by order of the Municipal authorities of Nashville. An average of between 2,000 to 3,000 prescriptions have been filled monthly for the indigent poor of this city, since this important change has been made. During the session, members of the faculty will be in attendance daily, in order to prescribe for all who may apply in the presence of the class; thus affording one of the most efficient and instructive out-door clinics in America.
